Paardeberg Sustainability Initiative (PSI)

The Paardeberg Sustainability Initiative (PSI), founded by environmental advocate John Smith, is engaged in various impactful projects in the Paardeberg region of the Western Cape. We aim to restore and expand forested areas to enhance biodiversity and mitigate climate change. PSI also implements waste management programmes, promoting recycling, composting and reducing single-use plastics to minimise environmental pollution. We work on water conservation projects, promoting efficient water use, rainwater harvesting and educating the community about the importance of water conservation.
