DAKTARI Bush School & Wildlife Orphanage

DAKTARI Bush School & Wildlife Orphanage educates and inspires local children in the South African bush near the Kruger National Park about the environment and wildlife conservation. Founded in 2006, DAKTARI provides an engaging educational experience for children through interaction with injured and orphaned animals in the bush. We also supplement the children’s school curriculum with one-on-one lessons to boost their self-confidence. The long-term goal is to inspire the children to become environmental stewards, promoting sustainable conservation of Africa’s natural heritage in their communities.
