Inspired2Become

Inspired 2 Become (I2B), was established in 2010 by Chris and Fanie van der Merwe and is a South African non-profit that utilises sports to inspire and empower youth. Through programmes like rollerblading, skateboarding, surfing and life skills training, I2B aims to unlock young people’s full potential in both physical and mental well-being. We have positively impacted more than 1 000 individuals, constructing three skate parks in disadvantaged communities and providing surfing lessons to 500 children. Life skills camps focus on vital topics such as communication and financial literacy. I2B is a crucial resource, fostering skill development, confidence and positive relationships among South African youth.
