We go where most don’t dare to go, addressing one of South Africa’s toughest crises. We tackle crime and gender-based violence at its root. The SmilingOne Foundation is a South African social impact organisation with 18 years’ experience working in some of the country’s most complex human environments – maximum-security prisons and schools in high-risk communities – unlocking human potential through deep, values-based leadership development. We develop positive role models and change agents by transforming incarcerated men into certified coaches who mentor youth at risk, strengthen families, and contribute to safer, healthier communities.
